Audio Vault
An Android app by AimPulse that backs up your call recordings to your own Google Drive
Audio Vault copies the recordings in a folder you choose on your phone to a "Call Records" folder in your own Google Drive. Your recordings are kept safe if you lose or replace your phone, and you can open them from any device signed in to your Google account.
How it works
- Pick a folder. You choose the one folder on your phone that holds your recordings. The app reads only that folder.
- Connect Google Drive. You sign in with Google and allow Audio Vault to add files to your Drive.
- Back up. Tap Start Sync to Drive at any time, or turn on the daily sync, which runs automatically around midnight. Files that are already in your Drive are skipped, so only new recordings are uploaded.
Your data stays yours
- No servers of ours. Recordings go straight from your phone to your Google Drive. AimPulse never receives, stores or listens to them.
- Limited Drive access. Audio Vault uses Google's drive.file permission, which only lets the app see and manage the files it uploads itself. It cannot read anything else in your Drive.
- You stay in control. Your original recordings are never deleted from your phone. You can remove the app's access to your Drive at any time from your Google Account.
ℹ️ Usage statistics: After you accept the privacy policy, the app sends anonymous usage statistics (for example, whether a backup succeeded) to Google Analytics for Firebase. They never include file names, recordings, contacts, phone numbers or your email address. Details are in the privacy policy.
